Sanctuary Social Care has locum vacancy for a Senior Social Worker to work full-time based in Dudley, within the Leaving Care Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Senior Social Worker role is £29.93 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
This is an exciting time to join Dudley Leaving Care Service as we seek to improve our offer in Dudley to unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking young people who arrive in the borough. The Leaving Care Team in Dudley works with care leavers who arrived in the UK as Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking minors - our dedicated service with social workers and personal advisers in the team provides vital support and advice to our Care Leavers during their transition from living in care to adult life.
In Dudley we are creating the formation of a team dedicated to work with unaccompanied asylum seeking young people to provide consistent and quality support to Care Leavers so that they can have the very best start in adult life and to live happy, healthy and safe and independent lives. To achieve our ambitious improvements, we are seeking to recruit a motivated, skilled and experienced social worker.
Requirements of the Senior Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work
Current Social Work England registration
Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's services
