Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to work full-time within an Integrated Learning Disability Service based in Merton.
The pay rate for this locum Senior Social Worker role is £33 per hour (Assignment rate).
Summary:
- As post holder of this role, you will manage the first contact for referrals to the team, advice and information and initial assessment. The role is key to referral management.
- You will need to be confident and able to work quickly and like the fast pace of managing incoming and short-term initial support for customers and carers.
- Develop good relationships with other teams and colleagues across the locality to ensure work across teams is well developed and collaborative.
- The intake and assessment social worker will work with other colleagues to provide the duty function of the team and will not carry a caseload.
Requirements of the Senior Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Recent post-qualifying experience within frontline Adults social work
- The role will require a good level of knowledge of the relevant legislation and safeguarding as well as excellent assessment skills.
