What you will do:
- Facilitate service user choice and empowerment through promoting independence, allowing residents to maintain their community connections for as long as safely possible.
- Assist with managing budgets, ensuring effective and timely processes, including authorising assessments and arranging necessary funding to support individual plans.
- Undertake statutory interventions where service users are at risk, including managing situations of neglect or abuse, and chairing Section 42 Safeguarding Adults Enquiries as required.
- Provide operational and motivational leadership to staff, fostering a positive working atmosphere aimed at delivering high-quality services.
- Offer regular, professional supervision for practitioners, aligning with Council Policies, legislation, and professional standards.
- Oversee the duty team, managing all incoming referrals and safeguarding concerns efficiently.
