Sanctuary Personnel, a committed and competitive recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Scrub Nurse to work 37.5 hours per week based in Chelmsford, within the Ophthalmic & ENT Team.

The salary for this permanent Senior Scrub Nurse job is £39,500 per annum.

Duties:

  • Lead and support in the management & organisation of care provision within the operating department
  • Be responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care & services within Ophthalmic & ENT

Requirements of the Senior Scrub Nurse:

  • Post registration experience as a Scrub Practitioner including Ophthalmic and ENT surgery
  • Experience in leading a team is desirable
  • NMC/HCPC registration - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions
  • ALS/EPALS certificate – desirable
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification - desirable 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
  • A positive, “can do” attitude and the want to make a difference in their work
