Sanctuary Personnel, a committed and competitive recruitment agency is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Senior Project Managers to work remote. Potenially may include occational travel to Bottle office.
The pay rates for these locum Senior Project Manager jobs are £550 per day and are initial 3-month contracts.
This role is home working until further notice. Some office travel when available.
Duties:
Support SMEs in developing the business case
Identify and manage stakeholder relationships and ensure senior level support is in place
Manage internal and external relationships as appropriate
Ensure key HSE process owners, SMEs and other impacted colleagues understand their roles and responsibilities within the programmes and projects
Ensures effective deployment of resources where appropriate and supports the identification of future resource demands
Oversee risk and issue management
Ensures mitigations are in place and resolved through negotiated agreement
Ensure realisation of benefits for customers through planning and designing and that project outputs meet programme requirements
Maintain overall integrity and coherence of programme and governance framework to support each project
Plan programme assurance activities
Cascade vision and translate into delivery objectives for the team
Lead the programme to deliver the business case benefits and outcomes
Work with project leads and business as usual to ensure dependencies are actively managed, act as an arbiter and enforcer and resolve issues between the various elements of the programme
Proactively manage (jointly) other dependencies across the Portfolio
Requirements of the Senior Project Managers:
Experienced Project Manager
Strong experience of delivering change/transformation in operational and/or regulatory environments and have strong experience in delivering digitally enabled change
Experience in working in government and understanding of GDS etc
Significant E2E experience of delivering change and transformation in operational and regulatory environments
Demonstrable experience of managing large programme budgets/ finances (ideally over £10m)
Experience of delivering digitally enabled business transformation/change programmes and knowledge of GDS
Experience of implementing data models and data governance in operational and corporate environment
Formal PPM qualification
Significant experience in dealing with and managing diverse and complex stakeholder groups – other regulators across government
Pragmatic in approach, with experience of delivering at pace, in a changing environment with competing priorities
Experience of managing third party agile digital delivery partners and strong commercial management skills
Experience of using one or more agile delivery methodologies would be an advantage

P3O Practitioner qualification
APM Registered Project Professional qualification
Knowledge of Agile Methodologies (including SAFe)
