Sanctuary Social Care has locum vacancy for a Senior Practitioner to work full-time based in Ferryhill, Durham - within the Pre-Birth Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Senior Practitioner role is £31.93 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.
This is based in Ferryhill (with a satellite office in Chester le street) and is open to candidates of a high calibre who wish to progress in a dynamic and high functioning team. There is a specific element to the work within this Team whereby the families open to the Team will of had one or more children removed from their care, and where there continues to be significant concerns around parents ability to protect, recognise risk and have capacity to move on safely.
Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Must have experience in care proceedings, in developing progressive and specialised pre-birth care plans.
