Sanctuary Social Care currently has a permanent vacancy based in Redbridge for a Senior Practitioner to work full-time within a Parenting Assessment Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £42,774 - £45,684 per annum.
The team completes all parenting assessments for families within the PLO and care proceedings, so candidates need to have experience of court work and statutory CP/CIN/LAC work.
As an SP in the team, they will be expected to supervise either a Family Support Worker or Family Group Conference Co-ordinator in addition to delegated tasks from the Team Manager.
Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services.
- Experience within Assessment is preferred.
