Sanctuary Social Care has a permanence vacancy for a Senior Practitioner to work full-time based in Bexley, within the Looked After Children Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The salary for this permanent Senior Practitioner role is £40,788 - £44,813 per annum.
Duties:
- To safeguard and promote the health and wellbeing of children, young people and support their families and carers by working with cases appropriate to your assessed experience, skills, and knowledge
- To assume responsibility within the care group for research and development, including keeping the team updated, and contributing to the development of service provision/organization
- Be accountable to children (age-appropriate in a child-centered way), young people, families, carers, groups, individuals, and partner agencies for their practice
- To Manage and be accountable with supervision and support for your own social work practice
Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
