Sanctuary Social Care has a permanent vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Senior Practitioner to work part-time within an Emergency Duty Team based in Bromley. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with Social Work England.
The salary for this permanent Senior Practitioner job is up to £46,073 per annum.
Summary:
- The EDT responds to social work emergencies which need addressing outside normal office hours and which cannot wait until the next working day. Work is generated across all areas of social work to include vulnerable adults, children and families and Mental health services. The successful candidate will provide an "emergency out of hours" response for all residents across the London Borough of Bromley. The candidate should be able to demonstrate their ability to lone work.
Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current Social Work England registration
- A minimum 2 years' experience within Children's Services
- Experience of working across children, adults and Mental Health (AMHP) would be desirable
- Must have access to a vehicle in order to carry out this role effectively.
