Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Practitioner to work full-time within a Court Team based in Bromley. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services.
The pay rate for this locum Senior Practitioner job is £35-£38 per hour (assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
About the role:
- To ensure that services are efficiently and effectively provided, liaising as necessary with other divisions, Council Departments, N.H.S. trusts, schools, carers, voluntary and independent sector providers.
- To maintain high standards of professional practice within their own workload and to promote and enhance such practice within the team and division.

- Formulating and updating child protection plans, with appropriate guidance from the Group Manager.
- Making use of the legal framework including both criminal law and the Children Act in order to protect children. This may include giving evidence in court.
Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Current Social Worker England registration
