Sanctuary Social Care has locum vacancy for a Senior Practitioner to work full-time based in Warrington, within the Children in Need/Child Protection Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.

The pay rate for this locum Senior Practitioner role is £33 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.

They have a strong vision for social work practice in Warrington and are developing a new approach to social work. They are developing a relationship-based practice model that has systemic practice at its core.

Alongside redesigning our social work teams Warrington have placed a strong emphasis on the workforce development strategy. They are working alongside the Centre for Systemic Social Work, who are providing a comprehensive training programme to social workers and managers across our teams and supporting our senior leadership team to embed systemic based practice across our services.

Duties of the Senior Practitioner:

  • Social Worker required to undertake work at CIN, CP and CIC
  • To support less experienced SW

Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
  • Previous experience working within Children in Need, Child Protection and Children in Care is beneficial.
