Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Social Work Senior Practitioner to work full-time based in Cheltenham, within the Children’s Safeguarding Team.
The pay rate for this locum Senior Practitioner role is £40.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
We are committed to ensuring we have a flexible workforce who can manage their work and home life during these difficult times, in order to do this role we would consider home working where the role allows, together with flexible working where it meets the needs of the children and families and also part-time hours.
Duties:
- Hold a caseload of children and provide an effective, evidence-based intervention with consideration of timeliness and impact
- A mix of Children in Need, Child Protection & Children in Care which includes some court work with a caseload of 18
Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children’s services
