What you will do:
- Manage a complex caseload that includes child protection, children in need, and court proceedings.
- Provide supervision, mentoring, and support to Social Workers, enhancing their practice and professional development.
- Conduct assessments and risk analyses to ensure child-centred, outcome-focused interventions are delivered.
- Collaborate with multi-agency partners such as schools, healthcare professionals, and police to coordinate effective support.
- Assist the Team Manager in ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and best practices within children’s social care.
- Attend and contribute to case conferences, strategy meetings, and court proceedings when required.
- Offer expert guidance on safeguarding issues, ensuring the safety and well-being of children is prioritised.
- Participate in service development and improvement initiatives to ensure best practices are implemented across the team.
