Sanctuary Social Care currently has a locum vacancy based in Sandwekk for a Senior Practitioner to work within a Child Improvement Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with the HCPC.

As the post holder of this role, you will receive an hourly rate of £32.34 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and this role offers a 3-month contract.

About the role:

  • You will need to be dynamic in order to work across all SCT service areas and teams and in partnership with our stakeholders within the multiagency to imbed this strength-based approach to working collaboratively with children, young people and families
  • You should be tenacious, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to devise and deliver training in conjunction with understanding the signs of safety ethos
  • This post requires a 'hands on approach' to relentlessly engaging others to increase confidence and understanding with applying this model to practice
  • You should have a proven ability of practice using signs of safety model, have undertaken the two days & 5 days advanced Signs of Safety training
  • Reference to being able to understand / and or experience of managing a project

Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
  • Experience of practicing using a signs of safety model
  • Experience, skill and knowledge as a practitioner
