Sanctuary Social Care has locum vacancy for a Senior Practitioner to work full-time based in Southwark, within the Case Management Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Senior Practitioner role is £29.98 per hour (Assignment Rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Job Summary:
- The Case Management Team work with older people and people with physical and sensory disabilities.
- The client group are vulnerable adults facing risks to wellbeing and potentially at risk of abuse. The work can be long-term and complex, and a proportion of the social care response involves enacting legal protections.
- The Senior Practitioners in the team oversee the work of a group of Social Workers and provide management supervision to Occupational Therapists.
Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adults' services
