Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapist to work full-time in Tooting. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of occupational therapies practises and be registered with the HCPC.
The starting pay rate for this locum Senior Occupational Therapist job is £25 - £30 per hour (Assignment Rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
To work primarily within the day service and community
To provide outcome-oriented group and individual occupation-focused interventions including community work.
To provide cover within the out-patients department and in-patient settings as required
To supervise junior staff
To participate in the planning, development and evaluation of OT services within the eating disorders service, leading on delegated projects
To provide interventions within any part of the service as required
To take responsibility for managing clinical risk and single-handedly implementing OT treatment
Requirements of the Senior Occupational Therapist:
Degree or equivalent within occupational therapies
HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
Recent post qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist
