Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Senior Nurse Practitioner to work full-time within an Adults Recovery Team based in Wigan. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of mental health nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Senior Nurse Practitioner role is £24.50 - £25 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
As postholder of this role you must:
- Demonstrate sound leadership qualities and an understanding of management styles
- Have an understanding of quality and change in the clinical setting
- Have the ability to delegate and coordinate
- Utilise Assessment skills and tools effectively
- Communicate in a variety of settings.
- Maintain accurate and up to date clinical records.
- Present factual information and refer questions to others where appropriate
- Deal with sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy Ability to develop effective interpersonal relationships with colleagues.
- Have effective time & workload management, allowing you to work to deadlines
- Ability to identify and minimise risk effectively
- Have good knowledge with IT and have IT skills
Requirements of the Senior Nurse Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in mental health nursing
- Current NMC registration
- Significant NHS experience as a Senior Nurse Practitioner
