Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner to work full-time based in Swindon, Wiltshire.
The pay rate for this locum Senior Mental Health Practitioner role is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Shift Pattern:
5 days with 1 day working from home
Duties:
Provide assessments and interventions to young people how present in crisis at the general hospital, alongside offering telephone support to professionals, carers, family and young people who are contacting the service in crisis
Provide time to the daily duty rota, complete risk assessments, care plans, clinical notes and crisis plans where needed
Attend Multi agency meetings as and when required for the patents we support
Provide specific interventions to young people accessing our service
Contribute to the Initial assessments for children referred to CAMHS
Provide consultation and advice to professionals
Requirements of the Senior Mental Health Practitioner:
Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
Current NMC registration with valid live pin
Significant NHS experience as a Mental Health Practitioner
Ability to drive, experience of Community CAMHS or CAMHS in general
Ability to undertake assessments of high-risk patients and routine patients
Ability to attend multi agency meetings
Ability to use Microsoft Teams
