Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Senior Finance Officer to work based in Chichester. Although this role can be remote.

This pay rate for this locum Senior Finance Officer role is £300 per day (ltd) and has an initial 3-month contract.

Main duties:

  • Forming part of the Financial Control Team in Corporate Finance
  • Responsibilities are varied, incorporating financial accounting, statutory returns and maintenance of essential controls
  • Be a direct contributor to the preparation of annual accounts, including responsibility for the remuneration disclosures and maintenance of fixed assets register
  • Key contact for external audit queries
  • Lead on the preparation of our Whole of Government Accounts return, as well as the subsequent audit
  • Engage directly with our residents as the Finance lead for Freedom of Information requests

Requirements of the Senior Finance Officer:

  • Experience working within corporate finance
  • Local Authority experience is essential
