Sanctuary Health are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Senior Community Nurse (Registered Mental Health Nurse) to fill a full-time role based in Essex. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this Senior Community Nurse job is £24.74 per hour (assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- As post holder of this role you will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for patients who are referred to the Uttlesford Mental Health Team for assessment and treatment. The role will be to act as care co-ordinator or an assessor depending on service need.
- You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team and work in close co-operation with community based and primary health care based professionals.
- Also, be responsible for ensuring that an integrated assessment and treatment service is provided to the clients and ensure that a good inter-disciplinary working environment is maintained.
Requirements of the Senior Community Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
- Must have recent UK Mental Health Nursing experience
