Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a dedicated Band 8a Senior Clinical Psychologist to work full-time in a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Team based in Brecon, Wales.
The pay rate for this locum Psychologist job is £40 - £45 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Job Summary:
- This post is to provide a specialised Clinical psychologically minded service to clients within the Online CBT service for people with mild to moderate mental health issues, providing specialised psychological assessment and support to clients.
- The assessment and delivery of treatment will encompass multi-disciplinary strategies, in order to facilitate the client's needs. All activities will be based upon a holistic, person-centred framework, utilising needs-led models, such as the Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) model and developing these interventions with teams, as appropriate.
- To work autonomously in accordance with The British Psychological Society Code of Conduct, Ethical Principles and Guidelines 2004, and Health and Care Professions Council.
- Within the team, to exercise delegated responsibility for the management and supervision of Assistant Psychologists and the workload of trainees, within the framework of the team/service policies and procedures.
- To contribute to the development of local team policies and procedures in order to facilitate improvement in service quality.
- To advise service and professional management on aspects of the service related to the team where psychological and/or organisational matters need addressing.
Requirements of the Psychologist:
- To be eligible for this role you must be an HCPC registered psychologist
- To have a relevant qualification and recent experience is essential.
