Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Care Manager to work full-time in an Complex Care Team based in London. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice and be registered with Social Work England.

The pay rate for this locum Senior Care Manager job is between £32-£35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Duties:

  • You will develop and support staff learning
  • You will as necessary ensure that work is allocated, transferred or concluded in accordance with procedures
  • You will have good skills in assessment and be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communications skills enabling you to negotiate work and develop and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of care providers, national organisations, other local authority staff and representatives of health services
  • You will demonstrate the ability to listen and work with adults and carers to reflect their views rather than make plans on their behalf and be able to think creatively and imaginatively to anticipate and solve problems within appropriate parameters
  • You will be able to prepare accurate reports and correspondence
  • You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work independently and flexibly and give examples of strategies
  • You use to manage pressures within the workplace
  • You will have an awareness of budgets, their management and constraints
  • You will demonstrate an ability to use information technology effectively
  • You will demonstrate appropriate understanding, knowledge and skills in valuing diversity

Requirements of the Senior Care Manager:

  • Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Car driver with access to a vehicle.
  • Experience in; undertaking assessment of adults and their carers. Allocation of work authorisation of completed assessments. Supervision of staff.
