As a Practice Supervisor, you will oversee Social Workers and Apprentice Social Workers within the Family Assessment and Support Team, engaging with all aspects of Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children in Care (CIC) cases. What you will do:

– Lead and manage a team of Social Workers and Apprentice Social Workers, ensuring best practices in safeguarding
– Oversee the Family Assessment and Support Team, covering all Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care cases
– Implement robust strategies for monitoring and supporting casework
– Facilitate continued professional development and training for the team
– Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive and effective safeguarding practices
– Conduct regular reviews and assessments, tailoring support to meet the unique needs of each case
– Be onsite during duty weeks to provide direct supervision and guidance
