Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Visual Impairment Rehab Officer to work on a full-time basis based in Cornwall.
The pay rate for this locum Rehab Officer job is £24 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Rehab Officer:
- Recent experience within a similar role
- Must hold a professional qualification of diploma/foundation degree in rehabilitation studies (Visual Impairment)
- Skills in assessing the needs of visually impaired adults
- Skills in mobility training, accessing the community and provision of specialist equipment to assist the visually impaired or those with complete loss of sight to maintain independence.
- Skills with regard to assessment of dual sensory loss would be an advantage.
