Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Surgeon seeking a fulfilling career opportunity? Sanctuary Personnel is excited to present a fantastic permanent Registered Veterinary Surgeon position with one of the UK’s largest veterinary retailers based in Leicester.
The role is offering a salary of £50,000 – £70,000 per annum.
Working Hours: We can consider both full or part time hours for this position which will include 1:3 Saturdays (9:00 – 5:00pm) but no OOH, meaning all of our colleagues can enjoy an excellent work/life balance.
Team: You will be joining a large team consisting of 5 Vets, 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 3 Animal Care Assistants and 7 Receptionists and a Practice Manager.

What we’re looking for from Veterinary Surgeon applicants:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognised university.
- Membership in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Previous experience as a veterinary surgeon is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary best practices and medical regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets.
- Ability to handle a variety of animals safely and effectively.
- Willingness to continually upgrade knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine.
