Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a permanent role for a Staff Nurse to work full-time based in Hitchin in the Orthopaedic/Surgical Ward.
The salary for this permanent Staff Nurse job is £26,500 - £29,500 per annum dependent on experience.
To provide high levels of care within the Orthopaedic and General Surgical Ward. You will be an integral part of the Ward team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes.
Hours/ shifts:
The Ward is a 24-hour service, shifts covered as below
Days – 7am/ 7:30am – 4pm
Evenings - 12pm – 8pm
Nights – 7pm – 7:30am
Weekends - Saturdays & Sundays – similar shifts covering days/evenings and nights
Requirements of the Staff Nurse:
- Current NMC/HCPC registration
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
• Flexible and positive attitude
• A warm, considerate and empathetic character
• Post-surgery experience preferred but not essential
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• HDU skills an advantage
