Sanctuary Health is currently looking for either a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse or a Community Psychiatric Nurse to work in Doncaster, within the Perinatal Team.
The pay rate for this full-time role is £25.00 - £26.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To work as a Clinician within the Perinatal Mental Health Service, responsible for the assessment and treatment of clients with, or at high risk of, childbirth related serious mental illness
- To provide specialist advice about medical treatment for perinatal mental health disorders
- Ensure efficient recording of activity and outcome data
- Ensure that discharge documentation supports involvement of other care providers including carers where appropriate
- To conduct routine and emergency psychosocial, risk and carer assessments in accordance with service policy
- To discharge patients from the perinatal mental health service
- To provide comprehensive written reports
- Participate in research and audit projects
Requirements of the Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health
- Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- Comfortable in the use of computer technology
- Have basic keyboard skills and the ability to use email
