Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (CPN) to work within an Adults Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) based in Bradford.
The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (CPN) job is £23.35 per hour (assignment rate) and has an initial 3-month contract.
Main duties:
- Manage a caseload of clients in the community
- Input data in the clinical information system: e.g. including risk assessments, care plans, CPA, crisis and contingency plans
- Administer intra-muscular medication and monitoring treatment plans
- Work as a part of duty service on the single point of access triaging referrals
- Supervise and mentor student nurses
- Demonstrate effective networking skills and ensure a holistic approach to meet service user needs
- Work to ensure the safety and wellbeing of service users and their families
- Work in partnership with service users and carers to achieve goals and to support recovery and reintegration within communities
- Provide appropriate feedback and liaison with MDT on all aspects of service user care
- Ensure that agreed standards of nursing care within the team are achieved
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent within Nursing (RMN trained)
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
- Recent UK Nursing experience
