Sanctuary Health are currently looking for experienced and dedicated Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurses to work full-time within a First Response Team based in Bradford. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Registered Mental Nurse job is £24 per hour (Assignment rate).
Summary:
- Provide care and interventions, risk and safety management and safeguarding of patients involved with the First Response Service.
- To engage in regular supervision with the Team Manager/Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Discuss, reflect and find solutions to challenges experienced in the role.
- Deliver a high standard and quality service which enables patients to be supported throughout their care pathway whilst promoting independence and protecting choice, dignity, privacy and safety.
- Work in support of other allied health care professionals in the assessment, planning, and evaluation of care and treatment.
- To communicate effectively at all times with other services of the Care Trust, other health care professionals and with the patient family, carers/ visitors to ensure holistic care is delivered.
- Supervise and delegate work to Senior Healthcare Support Workers and Healthcare Support Workers.
Duties:
- Provide evidence based clinical interventions, making autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice.
- Responsibility for the development, planning and implementation of care and treatment interventions for individual patients.
- Provide assessment, planning and implementation of individual packages of care and treatment.
- Ensure that individual episodes of care are delivered in a timely, effective and integrated manner.
Requirements of the Registered Mental Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent within Mental Nursing (RMN trained)
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
- Recent UK Nursing experience
