Sanctuary Health are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to fill a full-time role based in Blalby, Leicester. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this Registered Mental Health Nurse job is £22.95 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Triage Training is provided along with a competency requirement.
Duties:
- Once allocated the clinician will need to check the history check on the patient.
- Conduct the triage call with the patient taking into account past presentation, risk, social circumstances, triggers and current mental state.
- Documentation to a high standard accordingly within RIO systems, forwarding the necessary referrals and letters to the GP and/or original referrer with outcome.
- At all times there is support from the Duty Band 7 and other colleagues.
- We have access to on-call Consultant Psychiatrist weekdays.
- Many teams within LPT are nominating individuals to provide additional advice and support along those teams pathways.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
- Experience of working within a mental health hospital setting
- Systm One knowledge.
