Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a locum vacancy for a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse to work based in Wakefield, within the CAMHS Triaging SPA Team.

The pay rate for this Registered Mental Health Nurse job is £29.78 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.

Shift Pattern:

  • 2 - 5 days a week
  • The hours would be minimum of 2 days and up to full time, Monday - Friday 09:00 am – 17:00 pm

Duties:

  • Gather information to  enable decisions regarding if suitable for CAMHS which pathway they would go on or signpost to other agencies
  • Act as shift coordinator duties would include allocating self-referrals, having overall understanding of outstanding tasks delegating/actioning as appropriate and able to feedback regarding referrals into service as required

Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:

  • Degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
  • NMC registration and a valid live pin
  • Previous mental health nursing experience
  • Excellent telephone and risk assessment skills
