Sanctuary Social Care has a permanent vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to work full-time within Fostering based in Bromsgrove/Milton Keynes. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice and be registered with the HCPC.

The salary for this permanent Registered Manager job is £42,000 to £50,000 per annum.

  • Additional £3,000 car allowance (and 18p per mile on top for miles travelled outside of that to their chosen office).

Requirements of the Registered Manager:

  • Recognised and relevant professional qualification e.g. DipSW, CQSW, CSS.
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Management qualification or tangible management experience
  • Full UK Driving license and unrestricted access to own vehicle (£3,000 car allowance plus 18p per mile on top for miles travelled outside of that to their chosen office).
  • Broad depth of experience of working with Looked After children and Foster Carers.
  • Good understanding of appropriate and relevant legislation and regulations
  • Strong team leadership skills to create a 'can do' environment of high achievement with a focus on problem solving and creative solutions
  • Ability to make timely and effective decisions and lead by example, understanding when to consult with or defer to others
  • Able to build and facilitate relationships, both internally and external to the organisation
  • Prepared to work flexible hours as required to carry out the role of Registered Manager successfully
