Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a Band 6 Learning Disability Nurse to work based in Prescot, within the Community Team.
The pay rate for this full-time role is £24.32 - £25.23 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Face to face visits in the community
- Administration of depot injections
- Monitoring of the effectiveness of prescribed anti-psychotic medication
- Attendance, contribution and chairing (at times) of MDT meetings
- Assessment, monitoring and interventions
Requirements of the Learning Disability Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration (RNLD)
- Experience working within a similar role
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN/RNLD trained)
- UK experience
- Understanding and application of the Mental Capacity Act
