What you will do:
- Provide high-quality individualised patient care in the outpatient and pre-assessment departments
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during their visit or admission to the hospital
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to maintain compliance with hospital policies and national guidelines
- Function autonomously, utilising your specialist skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
- Support the Pre-assessment Sister and Outpatient Manager in implementing service protocols based on research and national standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Nurse with NMC registration
- Experience in acute surgical care, ideally with previous exposure to pre-assessment clinics
- Competence in phlebotomy, cannulation, ECGs, and intravenous antibiotics is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and adept with computer systems like MS Office
