Sanctuary Health has a job vacancy for a Reablement Physiotherapist to work within the Single Point of Access And Reablement Service in Islington. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £30 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract. There would be a 6-day service, therefore there may be a requirement to be part of a Saturday rota with other therapists (one shift approximately every 4-6 weeks at a 1.5 hourly rate).
Duties:
- The Physiotherapist will set rehabilitative and functional goals with the service user
- provide physiotherapy intervention and together with the allocated Case Manager or Social Worker
- Guide the service user through up to six weeks of Reablement service with a view to maximising independence and working to meet Reablement goals.
- The post holder will have a caseload of users with varied complexity of needs.
- They will be required to screen and work with partners to ensure that referrals into the service are appropriate, set and agree Reablement goals with service users and review against these goals alongside the Case Manager.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist
- Experience in a Community setting is preferred
