Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced Quality Assurance & Practice Development Officer in Exeter. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Quality Assurance & Practice Development Officer job is £41 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
The audit, observation and facilitation of the learning and development of all social workers and managers to develop their professional capabilities.
Working with managers to support identified individuals and teams, monitor practice improvement and feedback to managers/escalate where risk is identified and/or progress is not being made in line with the Improvement Plan.
Requirements of the Quality Assurance & Practice Development Officer:
Degree or equivalent in social work
Current Social Work England registration
Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
Post-qualifying experience of working with children & families
Experience of providing practice education and supporting social workers/students/NQSWs.
