Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Mental Health Team based in Camden. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £28 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.

Job Summary:

  • To work in ways that consistently promotes the safety, dignity and self-esteem of service users.
  • To be responsible for the assessment, risk management, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual and holistic programmes of care as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • To be accountable and responsible for an independent and defined caseload that reflects the priorities of the service.
  • To be involved in encouraging service users to accept an optimum level of responsibility for their individual programmes of care, and with their consent seek the co-operation of other care staff, relatives and friends where appropriate.
  • To participate in forums which enable service users to express their views about the service and enable them to contribute to service planning and development.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • HCPC registered
  • A highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice.
  • Adult Social Work experience
