Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a dedicated Band 5 Psychological Assistant to work remotely on a full-time basis.
The pay rate for this locum Psychological Assistant job is £20.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 6-month contract.
Duties:
- Provide a psychologically-minded service (under supervision) to referred individuals with mental health problems
- Providing mental health screening assessments and psychological interventions
- To work independently according to a plan agreed with the line manager
- To assist in clinically related administration, the conduct of audits, collection of statistics, and development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work
- To offer clinical support to users of the Online CBT service, registering service users on to the programme, monitoring progress and discharging users when they complete or disengage from the programme
- ensuring that patient information is treated confidentially and inputted correctly into the Online CBT Programme
- To assist patients in the use of computer therapy programmes as part of their clinical care, and evaluating their use
- To assist in specific psychological clinical work with adult patients
Requirements of the Psychological Assistant:
- HCPC registered psychologist
- Relevant qualification
- Recent experience
