Sanctuary Executive is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to work full-time within a Continuing Health Care Team based in East Sussex. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults services.

The pay rate for this locum Project Manager job is £400 - £450 per day.

Summary:

  • As postholder of this role your main purpose will be to develop, implement and lead on specific projects related to the Continuing Health Care Team and Transformation Board. Programme, which improve outcomes for clients and carers, and support service development and integrated delivery.

Main Duties:

  • Lead specific service development projects to improve efficiency and the experience of clients and carers, whilst ensuring best use of public resources.
  • Ensure the achievement of agreed outcomes and objectives within agreed timescales and available resources.
  • Jointly set up systems and processes with colleagues and partners, to ensure new developments are appropriately aligned to and integrated with other key projects and work-streams.
  • Undertake cost/benefit analysis and produce business cases where appropriate.
  • Manage project budgets within defined parameters, including profiling where required, and monitoring of project expenditure and income.
  • Critically analyse data from a range of sources and provide management information that supports evidence based decision making.
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure their engagement, and where possible alignment, with projects & the CHC Boards aims, priorities, timescales and outcomes.
  • Provide representation for the CHC Transformation Board and intermal CHC Board at stakeholder events including provider contract meetings, to ensure effective management and delivery of project aims.
  • To arrange for the closure of projects, including stakeholder and governance feedback and sign off, and assist in the production of adequate documentation for hand over to the appropriate commissioning, operational and/or technical support managers. Ensure information about new services and developments is appropriately advertised and publicised.
  • Set up systems to regularly review and monitor new developments including establishing key performance indicators and remedies to performance in partnership with contract management teams.
  • Develop effective working relationships and work in partnership with all key stakeholders, including through formal and informal consultation as appropriate
  • Give direction and support to, or directly manage, other staff associated with the project, as necessary.
  • Maintain an overview of best practice, innovation and new approaches nationally and ensure these are reflected in the project.
  • Keep governance structures fully briefed on progress of projects, highlighting risks and issues at an early stage, and making recommendations towards solutions.
  • Ensure that learning from the project is shared with relevant stakeholders, and utilised to inform developments within and outside of the project/team, throughout the life of the project.
