Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Prison Registered Mental Health Nurse to work in a prison based in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Prison Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Prison Registered Mental Health Nurse role is £22 per hour (assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Carrying out mental health assessments on prisoners
- Provide 1:1 clinics and administer, evaluate and collaborate on patient care plans and medication administration
Requirements of the Prison Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent within Nursing
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
- UK Experience working as a Nurse based in a prison
- Prison clearance
