Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Prison Registered General Nurse to work in a Prison based in Huntingdon. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Registered General Nurse job is £32 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- The post holder will monitor the emergency radio and respond to any health care calls that come in. The hope is to reduce the amount of patients that are taken to hospital to see a nurse when they could be treated by nurses on site whilst the COVID-19 regulations are in place.
Requirements of the Registered General Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in nursing
- Current NMC registration (RGN)
- Nurses do not require prison clearance for this role but they must hold ILS Training and have experience working in primary care.
