Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Band 5 Registered IDTS (Integrated Drug Treatment System) Nurse to work in HMP Northumberland.
The pay rate for this Band 5 Registered IDTS Nurse role is £28 per hour for days and £30 per hour for Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays (assignment rate) and has an initial 3-month contract.
Main duties:
Responsible for the provision of 1-1 key working and case management for patients discharged to the care of addictions services
Ensuring a seamless transition of prescribed interventions for substance misuse e.g. OST or alcohol detoxification medications
Delivery of psychosocial recovery interventions such as motivational interviewing and relapse management
Requirements of the Prison Nurse:
Degree or equivalent within Nursing
NMC registration and a valid live pin
Recent UK Nursing experience
Prison clearance is essential
