Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Prison Healthcare Assistant to work full-time in a prison based in Kent.
The pay rate for this locum Prison Healthcare Assistant job is £15 per hour for weekdays and £18 per hour for unsocial hours (LTD Company Equivalent) and this position is offering a year long contract which could lead to a permanent job offer. Hours Include: Early Shift- 07:30 or 07:45 start till 12:30 finish, Late Shift – 12:30 start till 21:00 Finish, All Day- 07:30 to 21:00 and Night Shifts when available - 20:00-08:00.
Core Duties:
Working within our Outpatient, Inpatient, Older Persons Long Term Conditions Teams.
Working within a team to help deliver care to the service users.
Responsible for accounting for the service users in the department, working within a multi-disciplinary team.
Some personal care required, assisting with delivering meals, talking with service users and also required to constant watch when required.
Able to deliver care to service users who require assistance with their Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
Requirements of the Prison Healthcare Assistant:
Prison clearance and experience is desirable
Have some knowledge of the System one, booking in service users for their clinics.
