Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Principal Social Worker to work full-time based in Northampton, within the Learning Disability Team.
The pay rate for this locum Principal Social Worker job is £32 - £36 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
Direct supervision
Quality assurance of assessment
Requirements of the Principal Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work
Current Social Work England registration
Experience in learning disability social work at a senior level
Good references
Be able to work with complex Learning-disabled people using a strength a based approach and 3 conversation model
Understands adult social care legislation, Mental capacity act, experience in COP applications
Able to work as part of a team as well as independently, positive and proactive attitude
Experience of both complex case work and management
Line manager experience
Risk analysis and safeguarding experience
Knowledge of strengths-based working
