Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Principal Social Worker to work full-time based in Northampton, within the Inclusion Team.
The pay rate for this locum Principal Social Worker job is £36 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Pro-actively working with/supporting people who are under 65 years of age (except those who have a Learning Disability)
Requirements of the Principal Social Worker:
- Have a Social Work qualification registered with Social Work England and have a good working knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Safeguarding Adults the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Best Interest and Health and Social Care eligibility criteria
- Have an interest in and have experience of working with adults under the age of 65, in a multi-disciplinary way and be able to work quickly and proportionately
- Have confidence in respect of decision making and positive risk taking including the promotion of a Strengths Based Approach to our work with people we support and, where applicable, their family/carers and be able to maintain high standards of work
- Have a proven experience of effectively supporting, motivating, managing and developing staff and coordinating available resources
- Have experience of performance management and an ability to be able to able to work to defined deadlines and contribute to strategic objectives and outcomes of the service
