Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Practice Manager to work full-time within a Safeguarding Team based in Medway. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Children Services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Practice Manager job is £39 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To supervise and support experienced and newly qualified social workers in their pod to provide safe, high quality casework to children and families that comply with legislation, guidance and local policies and procedures, and achieve positive outcomes.
- To maintain a focus on good practice and drive forward continuing improvement
- To manage and oversee the performance of the pod and ensure compliance with practice standards and procedures.
Requirements of the Practice Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant post-qualifying experience in Children's Social Care
