Sanctuary Social Care currently has a permanent vacancy based in Bognor Regis for a Practice Manager to work full-time within a Looked After Children Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with the HCPC.

As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £45,180 - £48,399 per annum.

About the role:

  • As a Practice Manager you will be passionate about ensuring our most vulnerable children are supported to achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for leading a team of social workers and support staff by motivating and inspiring, providing expert supervision and championing best practice. Providing mentoring/coaching and supporting the development of reflective and relationship based practice using our Signs of Safety Practice Framework.
  • You will be able to work on your own initiative but also perform as part of a wider management team. You will be able to build positive working relationships with children and young people, professionals, partner agencies and carers as well as respectfully challenge when appropriate. You will have an excellent understanding of the statutory requirements relating to Children Looked After and keeping children safe.

Requirements of the Practice Manager:

  • Degree or equivalent in Social Work
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services.
