Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Practice Manager to fill a full-time role within an Adults' Services based in Lambeth, within the Hospital Team.
The pay rate for this locum Practice Manager job is £33.31 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To assist the Team manager in the provision a comprehensive assessment and case management service to vulnerable Adults and to apply specialised knowledge and skills with the objective of improving practice and standards of work.
- To participate in the development and improvement of services to vulnerable adults in accordance with Team specialism i.e. Learning Disabilities, Older People, Substance Misuse, Physical Disability.
- To manage a group of Social workers and Case co-ordinators within the team, deputising for the Team Manager as required.
- To contribute to developing imaginative strategies to implement local and national policies (e.g. self-directed care), both in directly managed cases and also in assisting others.
Requirements:
- A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).
- Registered on Social Work England.
- Management experience is essential.
- Must be pro-active in promoting anti-discriminatory practices and supporting council policy.
- 2 references from past employers required.
