Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Practice Manager to fill a full-time role within a Children's Services based in Northampton, within the Children in Care Team.
The salary for this permanent Practice Manager job is £41,318 -£43,273 per annum.
This is a large and busy team that works with unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (under 18) and with families who have no recourse to public funds.
Duties:
To support the Practice Manager on day to day operational issues and may on occasions be required to deputise in their absence.
To support, advise and guide social workers as well as family support workers.
Line management of the team, regular supervision to enhance performance and case management. Additionally, you will be required to carry out annual appraisals.
Requirements:
Previous management/supervisory experience
Knowledge and experience of immigration processes (desirable)
Social Work England Registration with proven post qualification Social Work
Previous experience within Children in Care
Enhanced DBS Clearance
The right to work in the UK
