Sanctuary Social Care has a permanent vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Practice Development Manager to work full-time within a Community Social Work and Family Intervention Team based in London. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Children Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The salary for this permanent Practice Development Manager job is £48,585 to £51,492 per annum.
Summary:
- This will be a non-case holding position, supporting, inducting and nurturing newly qualified social workers (NQSW's) and students in practice. This role will focus on equipping the NQSW's with intense support to refine their practice, knowledge and skills to make them resilient and effective practitioners as well as being responsible for managing their ASYE and probationary period.
- In addition to the above, the ideal candidate will work closely alongside the service manager and team managers to identify learning themes through case audits and lead on setting up bespoke learning workshops and training on specific areas of practice across the service.
- This role will also entail holding regular ASYE meetings to provide reflective supervision and support to NQSW's and student social workers as well as qualified social workers.
Requirements of the Practice Development Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Experience working as a Practice Development Manager
